Do you know who Harrison Weir was? The man who arranged the first cat show in England, in Crystal Palace, London, 1871! He was also the one who wrote the first standards for the different varieties of cats. In 1889 he wrote a very interesting book about cats and the different breeds known at that time, Our Cats.
